Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)
Who We Are
- A group of parents, guardians, caregivers, teachers, students, and community supporters.
- We work together to promote the education, health, and welfare of all students and their families.
- We focus on community-building, student enrichment, and advocacy.
What We Do
The Franklin HS PTSA is a volunteer-operated 501c3 non-profit. It supports programs (through funds and volunteers) that provide academic and social opportunities, teacher and staff support, and backing for student activities.
Franklin PTSA provides:
- Information about events, opportunities, and advocacy at Franklin and in our community
- Teacher grants to support academic programs
- Student club and organization grants
- Teacher and staff appreciation events
- Community celebrations
- Community workshops (anti-racism, curriculum night support, navigating special education, College Ready, homework support at home, etc.)

Membership is open to everyone and provides you with:
- connection to our school community,
- opportunities to be involved,
- an amplified voice in local, state, and national education policies.
Students and Teachers can be members! You do not have to be a member to attend PTSA community meetings, events, workshops, and celebrations. Everyone is welcome.

Fundraising
The Franklin PTSA has a spending budget of $34,000 for 2023-2024. Our goal is to raise at least $30,000 this year to support this spending! Your generous donation will help us reach this goal!
The Annual Fund will kick off on Friday, December 15th.
