As Franklin HS assignments and expectations are specific to each teacher, it is important that students and parents start by looking at Schoology or the other electronic ways that teachers communicate with their students. SPS High School Priority Standards.

Free Virtual Tutoring Through SPL
The Seattle Public Library is delighted to announce that it is now offering
free, one-on-one virtual tutoring for Seattle youth through Tutor.com a service of The Princeton Review. Students can connect through the
Public Library’s platform at spl.org/VirtualTutoring
to get instant access to Tutor.com’s highly vetted expert tutors, who
can help with schoolwork, tutoring and academic coaching in a variety of
subjects in a safe and secure online classroom.
One-on-one help is available in math, writing, science, history, foreign languages, college essay writing, Advanced Placement (AP) courses and more!

Students Accessing Schoology
Username format is 1[1st initial] [middle initial] [ last name]. Default passwords birth date: mmddyyyy. Reset your password the first time you log in: passwords must be 7 characters.
Use Firefox or Chrome
- Go to the Seattle Public Schools or the FHS Home page (www.seattleschools.org, or franklinhs.seattleschools.org).
- From the top black Tool Bar Menu at the top, Dropdown “Students” and select Schoology.

- Select “Schoology.” NOTE: If using a SPS device, you will be automatically logged in. IF NOT: you will be prompted to log in; and add @seattleschools.org to your district username.
- You will be redirected to a Microsoft page, where you will be prompted to enter your password.
- Once in Schoology, the button for your Courses is at the top of the page

Students who need help with their SPS laptop at home
To log onto student laptops, students enter their SPS username Example: 1jrsmith and password.
If students are unable to log on or need assistance call the support number at: 206-252-0100. Staffed Mon- Fri 7am - 4pm if line is busy you can leave a voice mail or email laptops@seattleschools.org, email box.
