Seattle Schools Native American Heritage Month

Thank you PTSA!

Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. Click here for more information on TDOR.

ASB-Activities-Athletics Updates

Here are our weekly updates from our amazing ASB.

Winter sports began this week and we are excited about the winter season. This includes Boys/Girls Basketball, Wrestling, and Boys Swimming. Visit our Athletics Website for more information and to register.

All winter sports schedules can be found on www.metroleaguewa.org.

Boys swimming was previously and inadvertently omitted from the winter sports information. I apologize for that. We will be sure to keep you posted on all winter sports moving forward.

Our amazing ASB has initiated an anti-violence and positive expectations campaign. We’ve lined the hallways with expectations and positive messaging, educational resources, and where/how to find help. We’re also looking to partner with our Alumni Association to be in our halls for promoting positive behavior and building Quaker spirit. Stay tuned for more updates…

Student Feedback Survey Reflection

For the first time as a whole school, we are asking our students to give us feedback on how we’re doing to create the antiracist, welcoming, identity affirming, learner centered and growth focused community we want at Franklin. This week, our staff spent time reflecting on the feedback and we will now make plans to shift an instructional practice in response to the data.

Our administrative team continues to welcome your feedback on how we’re doing. Please complete our Admin Feedback Survey.

COVID vaccine clinics

Families that wish to have their 5 – 11 year old student(s) receive the COVID vaccine have several options including vaccine clinics at SPS schools. Click here for more COVID vaccine clinic information.
