About College Possible:
The mission of College Possible – Washington (CPW) is to empower students from low-income families to access, enroll, and graduate from college at rates equal to their more advantaged peers.
Coaches help students break down the college process into manageable steps, while offering practical and emotional support as they navigate applications, financial aid, and family obligations. Getting into college is just the first step – CPW continues to support students as they transition into college and all the way through graduation.
To apply to CPW, please complete the online application at: collegepossible.org/join and a College Possible Coach will reach out to you with additional information.
Students who qualify for College Possible are:
- Juniors or seniors
- Typically on free or reduced lunch or enrolled in the College Bound program
- Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (although, 2.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
We primarily support students from low-income families, but we are happy to help any student through the college application process.
We are currently recruiting 11th graders to join our program, and welcome referrals from faculty and staff.
Please know that we are a resource to any student looking for help through the college application process. We work closely with the Career Center and the Counseling Office to serve all Franklin students.
