Naviance
Naviance: An Online College and Career Planning Tool
Naviance is the district’s tool for students in grades 6th through 12th to explore colleges and career paths, analyze skills and talents with career and personality assessments and help stay on track to reach academic goals.
How Students Log in to Naviance
Students log in to Naviance through the SPS student portal (not the Source). The student portal can be accessed both at school and from home. Once you are logged in to the portal, scroll down and then click the Naviance logo.
Each student must know their district username and password to access the student portal. Students can contact any teacher or librarian for assistance with their district username and password.
What’s the high school beyond plan and why do I have to do it?
It’s a state requirement for graduation to help make sure all seniors are prepared for life after high school whether that is a job, college, military or a career program. You must complete this to graduate!
What tasks do I have to complete in Naviance to graduate?
SPS uses Naviance for these lessons.
The easiest way to see what tasks you have left is to go to My Planner > Tasks on the top bar of the Naviance home page and just finish what is left. Here is more detailed info:
Seniors
All of these videos and instructions are also available under Schoology via the SPS Student Portal for High School Beyond on Schoology/Source.
If you notice you are not enrolled in this class, please notify your Counselor ASAP. Naviance saves everything you do and it will show up complete when you finish each task. The Source will also be updated weekly until senior check out with each task completion status.
