Franklin High School Tutoring Program

Tutoring Ideas

Through partnership with the University of Washington and our Academic Intervention staff, Franklin provides tutoring support for English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and English-Language Learning for Multilingual students. Franklin Academic Interventionists and volunteer tutors from UW (who have gone through extensive background checks) are ready to assist students with achieving their academic goals.

Tutoring is currently offered during Wednesday advisory in Room 310 (by appointment only) and after-school from 3:40pm-4:40pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Additionally, multilingual tutoring support is offered after school on Friday as well.

The following is the regular weekly schedule through December:

Advisory : Wednesdays 10:10-11:10 by appointment

Lunch: All lunches on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; and 2nd lunch only on Monday. Lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays is by appointment only. Email Ms. Black or Ms. Gabi to schedule your time.

After School: in Room 310 from 3:30-4:30 M, T, Th. Stop by on the days listed below to receive tutoring in the subjects available on that day.

  • Monday: ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science, Chemistry
  • Tuesday: ELA, Algebra 1, Bridge to College Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geometry
  • Thursday: ELA, Algebra 1, Bridge to College Math, Chemistry, Physics, Geometry
