Franklin PTSA Mission Statement
To provide advocacy and enrichment for the Franklin High School community so that all students can thrive.
Our website provides information about ways to get involved, current school and district news, events, and student supports, and archives of our PTSA newsletter.
About Us
The PTSA is Franklin’s:
- Extra Support System – filling gaps so every student can thrive
- All-School Cheerleader – celebrating our students and staff
- Community Connector – bringing families, teachers, and students together
Together, we partner with the school and families to enrich the Franklin experience—in and out of the classroom.
Become a Member
- Supports Franklin Students, all day every day.
- Membership does NOT equal volunteering! Being a member simply means that you support our mission.
- Stronger advocacy through big member numbers at school, city, state, and national levels.
- Low cost and free options- $15/person, $25/family, free for students. Free No Barriers memberships available to all, too.
- Membership must be renewed every year– renew or join today!
You don’t have to attend meetings or volunteer to make a difference. Just by joining, you’re showing support for your student, their classmates, and the entire Franklin community.
Students Thrive When Families are Involved
High school is partly about growing independence in your teen, but there are so many ways to still be involved in your teen’s school to show your support.
- games and matches
- resource and curriculum nights, meet teachers and staff
- school plays and musical concerts
- Arts Quake and Multicultural Night and other student celebrations
- concession stand
- staff appreciation
- PTSA board
- PTSA Auction
- field trips
Ask and listen:
- about their school day
- about their friends
- about their interests
- about their goals
The Franklin PTSA is here to connect you to opportunities to be involved so all of our students will thrive at Franklin.
